Life Is Mystery........

Acting is a sense of wonder and magic and mystery for me and when life takes me on a new journey, I simply remember the smile my first ballet recital put on my face and I move forward.

All the details of the life and the quirks and the friendships can be laid out for us, but the mystery of the writing will remain. No amount of documentation, however fascinating, can take us there

Anybody can direct a picture once they know the fundamentals. Directing is not a mystery, it's not an art. The main thing about directing is: photograph the people's eyes.

As a male writer, women are always what men pursue, and their world is always a mystery. So I always tried to present as many views as possible on women's worlds.

“I feel as though I have lived many lives, experienced the heights and depths of each and like the waves of the ocean, never known rest. Throughout the years, I looked always for the unusual, for the wonderful, for the mysteries at the heart of life.”

“And finally this question

The mystery of whos story it
will be.

Of who draws the curtain.

Who is it that chooses our steps
in the dance?

Who drives us mad?

Lashes us with whips
and crowning us
with victory when we
survive the impossible.

Who is it... that does all these things?

Who honors those we love, for the
very life we live?

Who sends monsters to kill us, and
at the same time sings that we'll
never die?

Who teaches us what's real and how to
laugh at lies?

Who decides why we live and what we'll die to defend?

Who chains us and who holds the
the key that can set us free?

It's you...

You have all the weapons you need...

...... Life Note ......

I could describe it as a daily wish. Possibly even a prayer if I stretched the hand that held my pen high enough that I may get a little inspiration.
But it’s really more of a craving.
This insatiable hunger that I just can’t shake.
It rattles me until I am dizzy and I think too much and I cannot think anymore so I just go to sleep instead.
But if this desire was easily attainable,
well,
would I think it a blessing?
I am already cursed.

If I could just place some sense in my words,
if they could flow from page to page and
stick to minds and bind to hearts
I could make tears dry and souls catch fire and
lover’s eyes lock,
well,
would I have done my job?

If I could only stop feeling so fast.
Maybe my words would come out with more eloquence
More reliability
More talent
More energy
but then,
What else would I have to wish for?

Can anybody hear me out there?

Life....

I have always taken myself too seriously, given the unbroken and unrelenting narratives in my head too much airtime, too much credence. I have always over thought things, beating them to death with undeserved attention and single-minded focus.  After sixty plus years of this you would think I wouldn't go wandering down Worry Road or Speculation Street any more but sometimes, purely out of habit, I fall for the ruse that they will actually get me somewhere.
Whatever the issue is, I have found, it will usually resolve itself in time with or without my thinking about it. Whatever the issue is, I have noticed, it is usually something out of my control anyway. That is to say, it is somebody else's business, not my own. When I worry over whether or not someone has taken my words or actions the wrong way, I am worrying about someone else's brain neurons firing in such a way as to make whatever I did or said a negative occurrence in their life. First, I have no business trying to crack their head's code. Second, what could I do about it even if I could?
But I'm just thinking out loud here. I'm just thinking about thinking. It's a vicious cycle, isn't it?

True Friendship

True Friendship is a powerful bond & is prescious and “time” can be a powerful enemy if not used wisely…..it slips away…..don’t let your friendships do the same.

........Think For Someone............

I close my eyes and think of you
You used to be a stranger I hardly knew
Ever since I've known you, I've been in a daze
You've got me going crazy, this time I'm not afraid
You wiped away my tears, like no other has done
You touched me the right way, you didn't want to rush
As our lips touched and our bodies came close
I saw us together, never wanting to let go
Who'd ever think I'd fall this hard?
You've opened my eyes, a walking angel you are
I want to be with you because you set me free
You have shown there's a lot inside of me
I feel I need you, like you're the one for me
Leaving footprints on my soul, an everlasting peace

Meetings....

Meetings....
Life is about meetings...
seriously...
meeting up with friends, family, colleagues, boss, strangers...
formal, informal...
serious, relax, business, casual...

every meeting is an opportunity...
opportunity to know others and ourselves...
how others think, how others response to how we think...
how we response to how others thinks, others responses...
it's always learning curve..
knowing how far, how mature we have become...

was having a rather serious meeting the other day...
then i almost lost it...
but praise God i decided to stay calm, keep my cool...
though i felt terrible after the meeting..
but Angela told me (after everything ended)
"You did well, i really think you handled the meeting well"
really? i couldn't believe... i guess... i have grown up...

i think when i was young (still young) my skill in handling meetings...
were really bad...
not that i have become so good at it...
but i really thank God for helping me...
i have changed.. i have grown up..
i have learned to hold a meeting...
hopefully it was an enjoyable one...
..........................................................................................

trying
recently has been trying...
trying to be keep up...
keep fit, stay vigilant, be on guard...
tried to be hard working..
tried to be friendly...
tried to do a lot more...
it's like, if there's only 1 little of oil...
i am letting it burn more, burn harder...
is it in a way shortening my life?
dunno, juz trying.. trying to do more...
so that i won't regret because i wasted opportunities...

watched the show 'In Time'...
then realized, ya.. we cannot waste time...
people in the show know how much time they left..
sometimes, i really hope to know how much more time for me...
so that i won't waste time..
i won't waste time on unimportant thing...
i won't waste time to do things that is wasteful...
but i guess it's blessing not to know when our time is up...
we just live day by day...by His grace..
with our best, to glorify His name...

so... i think, better log off now..
:) do some meaningful thing...

God is in the house...

God is in the house...

Tonight's cell is wonderful... Because God is in the house!!!
Supposed to meet @ Tim & Yean's house but last min they can't make it...
then wanted to go Jeff's house.. he also can't make it...
so I decided to meet in church instead...

when i reach church ard 8.55pm...
saw a man with 2 ladies and a kid looking into church office...
after asking, found out that they wanted to go for PHD (Prayer, Healing, Deliverance)
coz the wife (one of the ladies... the other lady is her younger sister) hurt her back...
she has seen doctor and even pain killer won't help...
i went ard to find out and realized they cancelled tonight's PHD due to Baptism ER...
then i said 'since you are here, can i pray for you.. if you dun mind?'
the husband was quite happy to hear that (when i first saw him, he looked distress)
so i got everyone involve (husband lay hand, the rest pray together)
(including Jin Liang and Michelle)...
after prayer, she said she felt a bit better...
so prayed again... then i asked how is she...
she said '1st time about 40% healed, 2nd time about 70% healed...'
so i said 'let's believe a 100% healing' so we prayed...
after prayer she straight away stood up from the chair...
with a smiley face and she said, 'i think i'm totally well!'
even the husband and sister exclaimed 'look, she could stand up so fast'
we didn't stop there.. we prayed for her leg because i guess she has long short leg
then while praying, i could feel her left leg grew..
so i asked, 'did you feel something?' 'i felt my left leg grew' she said...
they were so happy...
they came in distress, they left with total joyful face...
then we continue to have cell group, wonderful worship, word and works...
God, Thank You! You are so amazing!
Thank You for arranging all these...
Even though cell had only 3 persons...
But it was really a wonderful experience...
God really really really so interested in meeting needs...
are we?
